Stainless steel (304 / 316)

The premium workhorse. Vacuum-insulated steel keeps drinks hot 6–12h and cold 12–24h, is extremely durable, and is food-grade and inert. Best for travel, outdoor, gifting and any brand where temperature retention is the selling point. Higher unit cost, but commands a premium price.

Tritan (BPA-free copolyester)

A clear, tough, BPA-free plastic developed for food-contact and baby products. Lighter and shatter-resistant, ideal for sports and kids bottles where clarity and impact resistance matter. Does not retain temperature unless insulated. A strong "safe plastic" positioning versus standard PP/PS.

Standard plastic (PP / PS)

The lowest-cost option — common for promotional and budget bottles. Choose BPA-free grades and verify food-contact compliance. Less durable and less premium; best for high-volume giveaways rather than a brand-building product.

Glass

Chemically inert with a pure taste and a premium home/office feel, but fragile and heavy. Often paired with a protective sleeve. Best for stationary use and wellness positioning rather than travel or kids.

Is Tritan plastic safe and BPA-free?
Yes. Tritan is a BPA-free copolyester developed specifically for food-contact and baby products. It is durable, clear, dishwasher-safe (top rack) and does not contain Bisphenol A, B or S. It's a common premium alternative to standard PP/PS plastic for sports and kids bottles where clarity and toughness matter.
Which drinkware material keeps drinks hot or cold longest?
Double-wall vacuum insulated stainless steel keeps drinks hot or cold for many hours (often 6-12h hot, 12-24h cold). Glass and single-wall plastic/Tritan provide little to no thermal retention unless paired with an insulated sleeve. If temperature retention is the selling point, vacuum stainless steel is the clear choice.
What is the most durable drinkware material?
Stainless steel (304/316) is the most durable for everyday and outdoor use — resistant to dents, rust and drops. Tritan is very tough for a plastic and shatter-resistant.
